Based on a piece by Grant Wood (obviously;) with the title „American Gothic“ .
I always wanted to do something with this iconic piece from 1920 and after watching #Wandavision I knew it has to be these two😅

Somehow Wood‘s style matched the mood and underlying strangeness that is going on throughout the entire first season so well.

In terms of composition I found that Vision‘s forehead perfectly matches the gothic window in the background, there is so much detail to play with - overall it was a lot of fun to work on this piece.
