This is mainly a big nod to the Ikoria-edition of Magic the Gathering with some Lowbrow elements featuring Luna & Nova, my own new Characters feeding what appears to be a Behemoth.
Actually, Schrödinger ( You remember the Scythe?) also seems to turn into a broom when under stress;)
It is a funny bunch and feeding time is something special it seems.

With this piece I wanted to see how far I can push the boundaries of fantasy art and how much does it take for it to be categorized as lowbrow or even anime?
I don't care much about genre-borders and this piece (and series) is just a testament for this statement.

The landscape is based on August Wilhelm Leu's work from 1860ish.

There is also a framed *over-the-top* Gold-Edition Print I made - just swipe past the close-ups to see that ;)
