A Series of mostly anime related portraits that depicts unfortunate characters that will die in their story.

The topic is rather personal to me and working on these for the past 9 months helped me through some tough times.

The ambivalence of some of the portrayed characters is what makes each piece a statement in itself; it makes you argue, discuss and think about it, rewatch the episodes or read the manga. If you are angry or mad at me, my work is done;)

Additional notes:
1. The Aerith piece stands out a bit because its a game character, but since the remake of FF7 makes it ambiguous as to what happens to Aerith, I felt it is my duty to do a nod to the original PS1 version of the story - regardless if the authors decide otherwise in the remake - the old story is still there and relevant.

2. Also Lucy from Elfenlied is an ambivalent character because only in the Manga it goes as far as she is destroying nearly all of humanity and in that consequence - as kind of a killing machine - she might kill herself when her work was done. At least this is close to what most readers believe what happened to her.
