New works in an existing Series Still (A) Life, this time with the focus on movies.

The project is still ongoing and to complete these 4 pieces took around 2 years besides other things. It is inspired by flemish painters and the eternal struggle that painting still life is;) I just decided to make it a bit more fun.

The actual work per piece is around 30 hours+/- but a time consuming part is also research and talk with friends and geeks about these ideas at conventions before they become an actual project ;)

Many ideas will not even work because it will be too much, too crowded or not fitting at all. My aim is always to find a perfect balance between a working composition (that is always my priority) and to bring as much nerdy details into a piece as possible. The latter takes more time = more fun.
