A new "Ancient-Kaiju"-piece for a change!
Starting the new year with a dark contorted twist in the realm of H.P. Lovecraft. Did this as part pf my third artist-grant last year. I‘m really slow in keeping this place updated, but there you go.

The Shoggoth was inspired by designs from the band tool and beside the horror aspect, I wanted to keep the romantic aspect of the landscape from Sophus Jacobsen from 1890.

It was my goal to make it appear as if the creature is afraid of fire😅 (look at the close-ups to see that).
