Did these last year for a german artist grant, respectively it was rather an open proposal in which I drafted how great of a challenge it would be to combine the creatures of H.P. Lovecraft with the imagery of John Atkinson Grimshaw paintings from 1900. What can I say, I got the artist grant and went on to fulfill my promise, which seemed easier to imagine than to actually do.

In times of AI-engines it would have been a lot easier - and these are completely free from that. It is rather what I call "handpainted inceptionism".

This series as actually all the Lovecraft related work can be taken with a grain of salt. Life is horrifying enough, we don't need that in art or culture - those things should be fun to do and fun to consume.
