Inspired by the work of Kanokoga.

Finally got around to work on another portrait painting, this time it is again a mashup between Halo and Frieren. This is the second portrait franchise mashup after the "Fallout Zelda" https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lGK0ZY

But this one has another layer to it, because its true, that in the games you never see the Master Chief without his helmet, now you know why!

I stumbled about a post on X the other day by Kanokoga who showed illustration with Halo and frieren and I liked the idea so much, that I made my own take on it - with this added hint on the Master Chief.

The development of his piece was very messy to say the least, as I went for an graphical abstract background that was inspired by Gustav Klimt and Michael Parkes, instead of being a landscape, because that would have been a whole different can of worms, but that does not mean this was the easiest way tho ;)

The background is from my own Stock catalogue (20 years+) combined with different layer effects.
